I've had a decent Samsung Maxima Zoom for about 9 years, and it's a standard 35mm that has served me well. I need to do better scans of a lot of pictures.

I got a great digital camera, the Canon PowerShot A720, and it's really exciting because of the full manual control. So I can get into amateur photography a lot more. I mean, just being able to switch between different ISO speeds is great. I've been able to do a lot with shutter speed so far, and I'll have to experiment with aperture and white balance.
